Fees & Taxes of an NYC Hotel Room

When it comes to staying at Concorde Hotel New York, we like to be as transparent with your guests as possible. On this page, we break down all of the standard taxes and fees for a stay at our hotel.

New York State & City Taxes (14.75%): These are combined sales taxes of New York State and New York City. These taxes are based on the cost of your daily rate.

NYC Occupancy Tax ($2.00 per night): This is a mandatory tax that the city imposes on hotels.

New York State Tourism Tax ($1.50 per night): This is a mandatory tax that the stay imposes on hotels.

Residence Fee ($25 + tax per night): Like many hotels in New York City, we have a separate Residence Fee that offsets costs of services & amenities in addition to your room e.g. high speed internet, in-room coffee, and 24 hour fitness center.

The Residence Fee is charged during your stay and not before as it is only applied when you actually use the amenities. This is why you might not see it on your initial bill/quote.

While these fees are mandatory for most guests, member of our Concorde Rewards program have the option to waive this fee when they book with our special rate.
