Your reservation at the Concorde Hotel puts you in the center of Manhattan. You can enjoy the panoramic views of New York City while relaxing in the fresh air. However, your room isn’t the only place to venture outside in the sky. Add these rooftop bars to your list of things to do during your visit to New York City.

The Perfect Pint

Walk about 10-15 minutes from the Concorde Hotel, and you will find a giant pint of Guinness hanging outside of The Perfect Pint. Make your way to the roof and find a small but adorably designed Irish rooftop bar. The space resembles an Irish village, giving it a kitschy and theatric feel.

The menu has 30 beer options but also serves wine and cocktails. The food menu is standard fare. You can make reservations online. A second location in Midtown is closer to Bryant Park.

Aretsky's Patroon

The chic and sophisticated Aretsky's Patroon rooftop bar is in the heart of Midtown East and a ten-minute walk from the Concorde Hotel. The restaurant is upscale, but the rooftop bar is more casual. The bar has a modern feel with teak detailing, manicured shrubbery, and plenty of tables. The space is heated and claimed to be an all-weather space.

The cocktail menu features a mix of classic cocktails and a few innovative creations. There is also an impressive wine list. If you need something to nibble on, there are a few light bites that you can order.

Ophelia Lounge NYC

The Ophelia Lounge NYC sits atop Beekman Tower. You can take a 15-minute walk from the Concorde Hotel to get there. The lounge aesthetic is a sophisticated 1920s feel with a brilliant blue and red color scheme. Throughout the lounge are vintage pieces from the era. However, the restored arched cathedral windows are the star of the show. There is a small outdoor patio, but the rest of the lounge provides stunning 360-degree windowed views of the East River and Manhattan skyline.

The menus feature creative craft cocktails and small bites. This lounge's intimate and quiet nature makes it the perfect date night spot. However, reservations are highly recommended if you want a table.

Bookmarks Rooftop Lounge

The Bookmark is technically on Midtown East's outer southern edge, one block from Bryant Park. It is about a 20-minute walk from the Concorde, so taking a taxi may be preferable for some.

Walking into Bookmarks feels as though you are walking into someone’s private library. With rich leather chairs, a spacious terrace, and an overall cozy feel. This is where you can sip literary-inspired cocktails and have intellectual conversations. The menu features custom cocktails, wine, champagne, port, and fine liquors. There is a small plate menu with offerings that are perfect for munching while you imbibe. The dress code is business casual, and making a reservation in advance is best.
